*Note: Loads can be invoiced by Email, Export, or by submitting directly to RTS once the load has been entered and saved.

  1. Before invoicing, you may need additional billing items. To do this, click into the Load and click the Billing tab.
  2. From there, click Edit and then Add New to add charges such as accessorial, detention, fuel surcharge, layover or lumper fees.
  3. Select the rate type, enter quantity and rate, review the calculated amount, and click Save.
  4. From the Loads tab, use the checkboxes to select all loads ready for invoicing and click Invoice Loads.
  5. Review the Purchase Confirmation screen, make corrections if needed, choose your invoicing method and click Submit.
    • Marking loads as invoiced is a required step to generate Driver Statements and complete downstream workflows.
  6. To track and apply payment details, open the Aging Report.
    • If you factor with RTS, you’ll see separate tabs for Non-Factored and Factored invoices.
  7. For Non-Factored Invoices, click Apply Payment on the individual invoice.
  8. Enter the Payment Amount and Payment Date.
  9. If the payment covers the full amount, select Mark Invoice as Paid before clicking Save at the bottom of the screen.
